☕Multitasking and beyond ☕

Working at a multinational company for over a decade has taught me to master multitasking. I can sit in a meeting and actively listen while drafting a client email, brainstorming a creative concept, chatting with another client or colleague, and scrolling my phone.

All of this. At the SAME TIME.

Now picture this: a busy office with 100 coworkers typing, jumping on client calls, sipping coffee, opening windows, closing them right after, bouncing on Pilates balls, saying hi, coming in, going out—some energized, some exhausted.

There’s always a base noise in the background. It’s really demanding for the brain.

That’s why I’ve learned something just as important as multitasking: how to recharge.

Imagine focusing on just ONE thing. No attention split. No background noise. Just presence.

For me, that’s creation (among other things). It’s my reset button. Drawing, painting, crafting—whatever pulls me into flow.

Creating something with the kids, and also without them. Even 15–20 minutes a day makes a huge difference in my mood.

Because to keep doing everything, sometimes you have to do nothing else.
