Once upon a time there was a rooster, called Gallo. He worked in an egg factory, where every day felt exactly the same. He felt safe, but he lost his colors. One day, Gallo received a mysterious postcard from a sunny town called El Idilio. This postcard made him dream again and it changed everything: he set up on an adventure, quit his job and bought a one-way ticket to El Idilio, and start a new life following his dreams.

I can’t even express how beyond happy and grateful I feel right now. In 2024, the book was shortlisted at the Bologna Children’s Bookfair, which already felt like a huge honour. And now, seeing the story appear in another country and another language makes me left without words to express myself.

All I can say is to always go for your dreams, because you never know where they’ll take you 🐓🩷
